Open Door Exchange is dedicated to treating all of our guests with dignity and respect.

One of the ways we do this is by providing a selection of quality furniture that our guests would be proud to own.

Please only donate items that you would feel comfortable giving to family or friends. Everyone deserves to have a home that feels safe and dignified.

All items must be in good condition.

What does this mean?

  • All items must be completely pest-free and come from a smoke-free household.

  • All items should be clean. This means free from pet hair, mold, mildew, and stains.

  • All personal affects must be removed from dressers or other storage containers.

  • All upholstered items (sofas, chairs etc.) should be free from stains, rips, and excessive discoloration.

  • Wood items should be free from excessive chips, fading, and watermarks.

  • Items must not be broken or missing parts/hardware.
